Banbury flood warning is reissued
A FLOOD warning has been reissued for the River Cherwell in Banbury and surrounding areas. The Environment Agency first issued the warning at 2.59pm on Sunday for the River Cherwell and its tributaries from Charwelton to just above Upper Heyford, including Woodford Halse, Edgcote, Cropredy, Marston St Lawrence, Banbury, Kings Sutton and Hook Norton.
However, at 8.48am this morning (Monday), it was limited to the River Cherwell and its tributaries from Lower Heyford down to Oxford including Rousham, Enslow, Thrupp and Hampton Poyle.
The warning now covers both sets of area and is currently at Amber level which states -Flodding is possible, be prepared
