Ex-police officer arrested over hairdresser wife's death in salon stabbing
The victim, named locally as Natalie Esack, died following the attack which happened at about 9.40am today at Esack Hair and Beauty in High Street, Ashford, Kent.
Police have arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of murder who they say is known to the victim.
It is understood that the suspect is the victim's husband Ivan Esack, a former officer with Kent Police who now works as a football agent.
Officers were called to the premises in High Street, Ashford, after an ambulance crew attended the scene to treat the victim.
No customers were inside the premises at the time of the attack although another member of staff was present.
