Housing trust says it will listen to villagers concerns
A HOUSING trust has said it will listen to Plumley residents as it aims to build up to 10 homes in the village. Cheshire Peaks and Plains outlined its plans for new houses during a presentation held at Plumley Village Hall, on Thursday, April 12.
The housing firm wants to build ‘eight to 10’ homes on land off Trouthall Lane.
The proposal is the third set of plans in two years by different developers to arrive on the doorstep of concerned residents.
In 2010, the other two firms involved – the Crown Estate and Sanctuary Housing – decided to withdraw their affordable housing proposals in the village.
