Jessica Simpson welcomes baby girl
Jessica Simpson has become a May Day mum - she's given birth to a baby girl.
The singer-turned-fashion designer and her football star fiance Eric Johnson welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson at a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday morning.
Simpson's mother Tina and her singer sister Ashlee were both on hand for the baby's arrival, according to TMZ.com.
The little girl weighed in at nine pounds and 13 ounces, reports UsMagazine.com.
Simpson confirmed her pregnancy news on Halloween after months of speculation about her expanding baby belly.
