Mum 'stable' after road collision
A 16-YEAR-OLD mother remains in a stable condition in hospital nearly a fortnight after she was in collision with a car while pushing a pram.
Police say she suffered multiple injuries – including a fractured pelvis and broken collarbone - following the incident, which was reported by the Star last week.
The collision happened at the junction of Knowsley Road and Cambridge Road on Thursday, April 19 and involved a Renault Megane.
Emergency crews say the baby escaped with a “minor bump on the head”.
The mother was taken to Whiston Hospital, where her condition was initially described as “serious” by police.
