This December in Istanbul, Tüyap stages the 35th edition of Plast Eurasia, where production technologies, raw materials and plastics machinery are gathered under one roof, while the organising team intensifies its outreach to trade visitors in major European markets in the run-up to opening day.
İstanbul – Running from 2-5 December 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, Plast Eurasia is organised by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in cooperation with PAGEV, backed by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. Purchasing professionals, distributors, raw material producers, technology providers and manufacturers will be drawn together at the event to build trading links throughout the plastics sector.
“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”
Momentum builds in the push for European visitors
With around 3 months still to run before doors open, 90% of exhibition space has found a buyer. A total of 80,000 visitors from Türkiye and abroad is anticipated by the organisers, whose trade visitor campaign concentrates on Germany, Belgium, Greece, Romania, France, Italy and Poland, together with markets across the Middle East and North Africa.
Professionals travelling from Europe in December will find materials companies, machinery suppliers and other plastics businesses assembled within a single exhibition setting in Istanbul. Fresh commercial contacts are the aim of the international visitor programme, which is equally structured to help firms deepen the trading relationships they already hold.
Production technologies, materials and machinery fill the schedule
Two pillars underpin the exhibition: machinery for plastic production, and raw materials and chemicals. Machinery solutions and next-generation production technologies are also on the bill, and the commercial agenda is being shaped by themes such as value-added production, innovation and efficiency.
Technical specialists and buyers can, thanks to the breadth of the product scope, examine production approaches, materials and equipment in one trip, while exhibitors showcase sector solutions, technologies and new products before a global audience.
Three and a half decades of sector change on display
Among the 35th-anniversary features, a Milestones Map will set out landmark moments from the fair’s past alongside plastics industry developments in a chronological presentation. Shifts in manufacturing technology over the decades will additionally be illustrated by an exhibition of historic plastics production machinery.
Plaques will be presented at the opening ceremony to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, honouring their continuous presence over the 35-year course of the fair.
Under The Stage is Yours! programme, exhibitors are allocated 30-minute presentation slots in which to put value-added products, technologies, industry solutions and success stories in front of visitors.
Guided access awaits hosted buyers
Navigating the exhibitors and product groups that matter most will be made simpler for international purchasing delegations through the Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme. Participating buyers are offered dedicated support services, entry to the Hosted Buyer Lounge, calls at demo and event areas and guided routes.
As Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, Turkish Airlines is providing reductions on qualifying international return flights into Istanbul between 25 November and 12 December 2026: fares carry 10% off Economy Class and 15% off Business Class.
